Bambloo to Bluildings

We are excited to announce our new product line of net-positive, solar powered “living structures for living.” We’ve designed them so that they can grow over time as a family or community grows. They are as easy to start as planting a seedling. As a bonus they provide abundant raw surplus feedstock materials for use in furniture, clothing and housewares and can naturally return to the Earth to complete the circle of life. Our first product in the line up is a tiny home ADU called “The Bambloo Dragon.”

Our easy to use mobile experience starts with you picking and adjusting key goals, constraints, and obstacles that define the sort of place you’d like to grow.

When the seeds arrive it’s as easy as 1, 2, 3! Follow the guidelines and plant the seeds where you like to grow your bluilding.

As the xeno-botic shelter starts to grow be sure to prune and tune the growth parameters to fit your, and your family’s, needs.

It’s move in time!

You’ll notice that the Bambloo tiny house produces surplus bamboo, bone, and leather-like skin that can be readily harvested to build your own furniture and housewares or contribute to your local community.

The Bambloo Dragon includes solar energy harvesting canopies grown from the finest dragonfly wings along with fresh water that’s been through our special baleen micro-filters.

Don’t forget to order the mechano-sensitive accessory biome made from beneficial bacteria that enables self-repair, sensing mechanical and environmental stresses, to adapt to weather damage or increasing mechanical demands (for when those young ones arrive).

The backstory? Our project began by asking a few questions:

  1. How might we use morphogenesis inducing bioelectric APIs (as Mike Levin refers to them) to dynamically generate goal directed changes in the structure and function of hybrid chimeric blue whale - bamboo induced pluripotent stem cells to guide the development of living buildings that harvest sunlight, soil nutrients, and ground water for their life blood?
  2. If we did this could it be dynamically reprogrammed or reminded of past memories to generate new structures or absorb vestigial ones through a set of goal directed generatively controlled goals, constraints, and obstacles?
  3. What sorts of ethical, regulatory, biosecurity, and policy guidelines and approaches, and for what stakeholders, would need to be resolved to bring this idea to life?
